Newton Marching Eagles Crowned Grand Champions at Robinson Festival
The Newton Marching Eagles delivered a powerhouse performance of their 2025 field show, Pipe Dreams, at the Robinson Marching Maroons Band Festival, earning top honors across the board.
Competing in Class 3A, the Eagles swept the caption awards, taking home Outstanding Auxiliary, Outstanding Drum Major, and Outstanding Percussion. The performance featured a moving vocal solo by Lucy Bierman along with a standout duet by David Vasquez and Emilea Gillo, adding depth and artistry to the show.
Newton’s excellence carried through to the overall results, with the band claiming 1st Place in Class 3A before being named Grand Champions of the entire festival.
The achievement highlights the band’s dedication, talent, and countless hours of preparation as they continue their season on a high note.
