Newton Masons to hold Child ID

The members of Newton Masonic Lodge will host a child identification event at the annual Jr. Woman’s Club Breakfast with Santa on Saturday December 14th beginning at 7:30 AM until 10.00AM at the St. Thomas Parish Hall in Newton.
The lodge reminds parents that children change quickly at their young age and recommend you take advantage of this free service often. There is no cost.
This identification process includes fingerprints, DNA cheek swab (can be done at home if necessary), still photo and a short video of child talking. This information is then put on a thumb drive and given to the parents to take home and put in an easily accessible place. The Lodge keeps none of the information gathered.
This programs works in conjuction with the state Amber Alert System.
