Newton Public Library District Reopening
The Newton Public Library District will be opening Wednesday, June 3 rd from 10:00am to
5:00pm Monday through Friday. The library will be open with limited capacity, and we request
that all visitors wear a face mask and sanitize their hands when they first walk into the library at
the sanitizing station by the door. We will be able to help with faxing, copying, printing,
renewing library cards, request items, pick up items, summer read registration, craft packet
pickup and materials. At this time, we will not be allowing computer usage by patrons,
however, if you need to print something from your email, you can email the item to be printed
off and we can print it out and have it ready for you at the circulation desk. We will also
continue curbside for those patrons who wish to not come in. We ask that all returning books
go in the book return on the North side of the library building. We will not accept returning
books at the circulation desk. All returning books will have mandatory 72 hour quarantine
