A two-day book sale will be held at the Newton Public Library District 100 S. Van Buren St. Newton IL, 62448 on October 2 & 3rd. The book sale will be held on the sidewalk in front of the library.
Please be courteous and practice social distancing and mask wearing. The book sale will be open Friday, October 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 3rd from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If there is inclement weather on these two days the rain date will be on October 9 and 10 th .
Featured items are children, juniors, and adult hardback, paperback books, movies and books on cassettes. For sale items are for free will donation. Anyone wishing to contribute to the book sale can bring items to the library during regular business hours. All proceeds will go to materials and programming.
