The Embarras River Tourism council is currently offering solar eclipse shirts to commemorate the upcoming solar eclipse event on April 8th, during which Newton will experience totality. These shirts were designed by Sadie Iffert, a sophomore at Newton Community High School, and they can be purchased online until March 13th.
Scott Avenue Christian Church will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on March 30 from 1-2 pm in the new multipurpose building with children ages birth to 10 years welcome. The entry is free and there will be prizes.
