The 2nd Annual Newton Community High School Job and Career Fair was held on March 6th and had over 50 tables set up for the students and public to learn about various careers and job opportunities. The Embarras River Tourism council is currently offering solar eclipse shirts to commemorate the upcoming solar eclipse event on April 8th, during which Newton will experience totality. These shirts were designed by Sadie Iffert, a sophomore at Newton Community High School, and they can be purchased online until March 13th.
