Sarah Weiler rounded out the summer reading program for 2019 at the Newton Library. Over the summer, the Newton Public Library has had several community members attend Story Time and read books to the children in attendance.
Since there are several new administrators this year in Jasper County Schools, we thought we would take the time to introduce both the veteran administrators and the new ones. Today, we start with our high school and jr high principal Beth Probst. Beth was born and raised in Jasper County.
Demolition has begun on the 4H section of the Jasper County Fairgrounds. The demolition prepare the way for the new 4H barns and show ring to be built. While a large majority of the money needed has been raised to pay for the new building, donations are still being accepted.
