Patricia Ann “Pat” Lewis, age 91, of Wheeler, Illinois, passed away at 6:17 AM – Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at her home.
Visitation will be held 2:00-3:00 PM – Monday, April 19, 2021, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Dieterich, Illinois. Graveside service following the visitation will be held at the Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler, Illinois, with Dale Hood officiating. Patricia Ann better known as “Pat” was born on February 14, 1930, in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, the daughter of Floyd John and Mary Ruth (Westendorf) Groothuis. She married Leo Calvin Lewis on June 18, 1948, and he preceded her in death on February 18, 1996.
Patricia attended Dieterich Grade School and three years of high school. Her senior year she attended Newton Community High School and graduated in 1948. She worked at Muddy Consolidated School as a secretary and retired after 37 years of service.
Pat loved to read and make quilts.

Daughters – Rebecca (husband Rollin) Denny of Springfield, Illinois Glenda Lewis of Canton, Illinois
Grandchildren – Douglas (Lori) Badgley, Jennifer (Jeff) Conrad, Jason Griffith, Brian (Holly) Lewis, Vicki Grobengieser, Amber Langley, Amie Lewis, Michael Denny and Myra Griffith.

Pat was preceded in death her parents, husband, sons Michael Lewis and Ralph Lewis, and grandchildren Scott Griffith and Charly Lewis.
