Payton Harris, son of Tim and Jessica Harris, will be attending Saint Mary of the Woods College where he will be a member of the sprint football team. During his time at NCHS, Payton was very active and participated in football, baseball, basketball, BETA Club, and FCA.
What made you decide this school was the best fit for you?
The coaches talked to me a lot and when I went on my visit it felt a lot like home.
How do you feel NCHS has prepared you for this next step in life?
NCHS has helped prepared me by teaching me work ethic in the classroom and on the field.
What are at least two life lessons you have learned from sports?
Sports have taught me how to work hard and how to work as a team.
How have your coaches (and assistant coaches) helped prepare you to play at a collegiate level?
My coaches have helped prepare me to play at the collegiate level by pushing me to be the best that I can be.
What will you miss the most next year about not being at NCHS?
I will miss not being with my friends everyday.
