We were informed last night (August 10th) that one of our employees has tested positive for COVID-19. This individual worked in the Main Bank in Newton and was not in a high contact area. The Jasper County Health Department has already reached out to those individuals who were in close contact with this person and have asked them to quarantine for 14 days.
The health and well-being of our employees and customers is paramount. The bank has been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected and our lobbies in all of our locations will remain open operating under normal business hours.
