Car enthusiasts from across the region are invited to attend the 23rd Annual Plainfield Church Car Show on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Plainfield Church, located at 17605 N. 1280th Street in Hidalgo, just east of Rose Hill.
Registration for the event begins at 8:30 a.m., with a vehicle registration fee of $20. Organizers welcome all vehicles to participate, and dash plaques will be awarded to the first 50 entries.
In addition to showcasing a variety of classic and custom vehicles, the event will feature food, games, bucket raffles, a cake walk, a 50/50 drawing, and a gun raffle. A church service will be held at 10 a.m., and special class awards will be presented during the show.
Adding to the nostalgic atmosphere, attendees are encouraged to participate in a 1950s and 1960s dress-up contest.
The annual event has become a summertime tradition for car lovers and community members alike, offering a day of fellowship, family-friendly activities, and automotive appreciation.
