Carder Reich threw a shutout against the Flora Wolves on Tuesday at the Jasper County Boys and Girls Park in Newton. Reich allowed zero runs on three hits and seven strikeouts over seven innings, The Eagles put a run on the board in the bottom of the second when Owen Mahaffey hit a hard ground ball and with an error by the first baseman advances to second base. and Isaac Flowers scored.
In the bottom of the firth Marc Jansen scored on a ground ball to third hit by Reich. In the bottom of the sixth the Eagles round out the scoring when Dalton Baltzell steals home and Flowers scores as a result of a line drive to left by Mahaffey.
