Remote Learn Planning Day on September 4 for JCCU1 Students Only

* St. Thomas students will be in attendance on this day.

Dear Parents, Grandparent, and Guardians of JCCU1 students,

I desire to inform you that Friday, September 4, 2020 will be a “Non-attendance day” for all students in Jasper County. This day will be a “Remote Learn Planning Day” in which our staff will spend the day looking at what has worked, what has not worked, and begin preparing for how to provide better opportunities for our students moving forward. No student will need to seek input from staff this day. Which means there is no remote learning this day as well. The state has allowed us as districts, five of these days to be used at our discretion. I will do by best to provide you with as much advanced notice as possible when we decide to use these days. I am also not putting them in the calendar ahead of time as I want them to used when we feel the need. After seeing the success that has been accomplished by our staff and your students over the first two and a half weeks of this school year – I am very optimistic that our future in Jasper County is bright. Thank you for your continued support of our educational process and our staff – they are Amazing and so are you!!
