Rides Mass Transit District to Host Public Listening Session in Jasper County
Newton, IL – Rides Mass Transit District (RMTD) will host a public listening session to hear directly from Jasper County residents regarding the community’s public transportation needs and experiences. The session will be held on Thursday, May 22nd at 11:00 A.M. at the Jasper Senior Center, located at 904 W Jourdan Street, Newton, IL 62448.
The listening session aims to provide a platform for the public and local agencies to comment on existing transit services, discuss improvements, and share suggestions for future service enhancements. RMTD is seeking input to ensure the district continues to meet the transportation needs of the community effectively.
Comments may be submitted in person at the session, by phone at 618-253-8761 ext. 500312, or by mail to the address above. Individuals with hearing impairments who wish to attend are encouraged to contact RMTD at least one week in advance to arrange for interpreter services.
