Sarah Kinkade Named New Chamber Director

Sarah Kinkade has been named the new Chamber Director for the Jasper County Chamber of Commerce. When asked what made her decide to accept the position of Chamber Director, she states, “When I was approached with the idea of me taking this position I was intrigued and excited. I like to extol my love for the place where I live whenever possible. I want others to feel as excited about JC, the people who live here, our schools, our volunteers and our businesses as I am! I’m excited to have an opportunity to share my passion for Jasper County with the people in our community and those outside of it!”
She talks about the aspects she is excited about, what some of her duties will be, and what she believes are some of the most important roles of the Chamber of Commerce as well as how the Chamber can assist local businesses stating, “I’m really excited about working with this Chamber Board, these are some great people dedicating so many hours to our community! Once I get my bearings I’ll be in the office for a couple of days a week and then out in the community connecting with our businesses another. Hopefully making some new friends! It’s my hope that in my role as the Director that I and the Chamber will continue to assist, promote and encourage local businesses and be able to create a unified bond not only between the Chamber and the businesses but between our local businesses and each other. Hopefully by doing that we will be able to increase traffic flow into the businesses and community as a whole.”
She also states, “I’m a lifelong JC resident and the proud daughter of Ray & Debbie Diel. I’m married to Cliff Kinkade and we are the parents of Jack who will be a freshman at NCHS this year and Harrison who will be in 5th grade at Newton Elementary. I know there are great people, ideas and potential in Jasper County and I hope that you are comfortable coming to me with your thoughts and ideas! It’s a great place to live, worship and raise a family. I’m excited to see where we can go and what the future holds for us. As always, GO EAGLES!!”
