Saved By Grace at Newton Rotary

On September 17, the Newton Rotary Club heard about Saved By Grace Animal Rescue, a new not-for-profit organization dedicated to the rescue of neglected, abandoned, or abused animals in Jasper County, then providing them with a safe foster home until a forever home can be found. They are able to humanely trap the animals and have them evaluated, spayed, neutered, vaccinated and placed in a foster home until they can either be adopted or released back to the area from which they came, a practice that helps keep unspayed and unneutered animals from moving into that open niche. They do not have a brick-and-mortar facility, and rely on volunteers. So far, they have rescued 15 dogs and several cats, and are hoping for donations of cat litter, pet carriers, or financial help from other animal-lovers to help them offset costs.
