Shirley Sue “Susie” Macon, age 62, of Newton, Illinois, and formerly of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away at 4:14 PM –
Sunday, March 8, 2020, at her home.
Services celebrating Susie’s life will be held at 1:00 PM – Saturday, March 21, 2020, at the Willow Hill United Methodist
Church in Willow Hill, Illinois. Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois. The

Shirley Sue, better known as “Susie” was born on March 28, 1957, in the Springdale, Arkansas, the daughter of Tommy
and Bertha (Copeland) Macon.
Susie worked for several years as a caregiver. She was a member of the Willow Hill United Methodist Church.
Susie enjoyed fishing, 4-wheeler riding and collecting rocks.
Susie is survived by:
Special Friend – Ralph Hume of Willow Hill, Illinois
Daughter – Jamie Macon of Springdale, Arkansas
Brother – Ronnie Macon of Springdale, Arkansas
5 Grandchildren
Susie was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Donald Macon.
