Newton Community High School with the help of the local community once again was able to provide gifts for children in Jasper County who may not receive much at Christmas this year. The Shoebox program is an annual tradition at NCHS where families, groups, and organizations shop for children in which they are given their gender and age. These gifts are then collected at NCHS and delivered to the ERBA office days before winter break by the students.
