T-town “B” took down Newton St Thomas 9-3 in JH baseball action Monday afternoon in Newton.
T-town took an early 3-0 first inning lead. Newton St Thomas climbed back into game and tied it up in the 5th inning. T-town closed out the final 2 frames scoring 2 and 4 runs respectively.
Newton St Thomas pitchers were Carson & Carter Barthelme and Gavin Meinhart while T-town’s were Buening and Ruholl.
St Thomas had 7 players with base hits, while T-town was led by Addis with a pair of singles.
Newton St Thomas came back from a 4-0 first inning deficit to take down Palestine 13-8 in JH baseball action at Palestine Tuesday night.
The Saints banged out 14 hits in the contest. St Thomas was led at the plate by Quincy Fulton and Landon Blake. Fulton had 3 hits while Blake had 2 and each had 3 RBI’s. The top pitchers for the Saints were Quincy Fulton and Carter Barthelme.
