Due to the unprecedented times, the Newton Public Library District has set up a Temporary Resident Card. Anyone who is a resident of the Newton Public Library District who does not have a library card may follow the link in the attachment or go to newtonpl.com for the instructions on how to set up a temporary resident card.. They can then set up a temporary card to use the Cloud Library. This Temporary Resident Card will expire in 2 months. However, if the patron is interested in retaining their card, they would need to come into the library before the 2 month deadline and transfer their temporary card into a regular resident card.
