Timothy A. Maxwell age 48, of Willow Hill, Illinois passed away unexpectedly
Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, Illinois.
Funeral services honoring Tim will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, June 12, 2022 at
the Crain Funeral Home, Newton, Illinois with Pastor Rick Britton officiating.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Saturday, June 11, 2022, in
the funeral home. Burial will be in the Hunt Cemetery, rural Rose Hill, Illinois.
Tim was born on March 22, 1974, in Effingham, Illinois the son of George A. and
Barbara J. (Flowers) Maxwell. On October 6, 2001, Tim married Nancy A. Lewis.
She survives. Tim worked for Evapco in Greenup, Illinois as an assembly
mechanic.
In his free time, Tim enjoyed four wheeler riding, deer hunting and keeping up his
yard. He liked to help out on the farm, spending time outside and Ford cars and
trucks. His greatest love was his family, especially the fourteen grandchildren that
called him “Papa”. Tim’s greatest joy was to bring happiness to those around him.
Tim will be loved and remembered by his wife Nancy Maxwell of Willow Hill;
mother Barbara Maxwell of Newton; children Tyler Maxwell, wife Chelsey of
Nashville, TN and Brittani Headlee, husband Jesse of Hidalgo; step-sons Chris
Edwards, wife Whitney of Toledo, Matthew Edwards, wife Raeonna of Toledo and
Nathan Edwards and Brandi McKenzie of Robinson; fourteen grandchildren and
siblings Tammy Webb, husband Greg of Newton, Sandy Lundy, husband Larry of
Switz City, IN and George A. Maxwell, Jr of Newton.
He was preceded in death by his father George A. Maxwell, Sr.
