Ronnie Tolliver, 46, was pronounced dead at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital after the Jasper County Ambulance personnel responded to a residence on Ste. Marie Street in Newton and found Tolliver unresponsive on August 9th at 4:26pm.
There is no foul play suspected, however, the official autopsy results which will determine cause of death have not been released as of this date. Autopsies can take 4-6 weeks or more.
The City of Newton Police Department investigated along with the Richland County Coroner, Jasper County Coroner, Illinois State Police CSI, and the Jasper County Sheriff..
