Right before noon on Wednesday, April 29, a vehicle crashed into the front of Marilyn’s Liquor in Newton.
According to initial reports, after driving forward into the building, the driver then put the vehicle into reverse, nearly causing a second accident on the nearby highway.
At this time, details regarding injuries or the cause of the crash have not been confirmed.
Following the incident, the business shared the following message with customers:
“Due to an accident, we are asking all our customers to please use our drive-through and drive-through entrance. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we clean up.”
