It is time again to begin bringing your flags into either the Newton American Legion Post 20 or the Sainte Marie State Bank for the annual display on Veterans Day. The Legion will be open from 2pm to 8 pm Monday through Saturday and the bank drop off is during normal business hours. If you can not make it down the Legion steps, please call 618-783-2622 and someone will come out and get the flag for you. If you are unable to drop off during any of the above times, contact the Legion and they will work with you to arrange a drop off time. The final day for drop off will be November 2nd.

NOV. 10 – FRIDAY, 1:00 STAKING COURTHOUSE LAWN.
Nov. 11 – SATURDAY, 6:00am, PUT FLAGS UP AT COURTHOUSE LAWN.
NOV. 11- 4:00pm, TAKE FLAGS DOWN AND OFF POLES.
