Dear Village of Willow Hill Resident:
Spring is here! That means Spring Clean Up is on the way, too! We will be holding our annual Spring Clean Up Weekend April 30th- May 2nd. The dumpsters will be available for your unwanted items and trash until the morning of May 3rd, when the dumpsters will be picked up.
Please, we ask that on this weekend if you normally take your weekly trash to the township dumpsters, do not use the dumpsters in Willow Hill that morning. We want to fill these dumpsters with unwanted items that have been stored on your property, or items you have not been able to transport yourself.
The Village tractor will be available to help.
However, you will need to schedule a pick up time. We will be scheduling pick up appointments on Saturday, May 1st ONLY, and this will be first come/first served. Please call Garret at 618-554-6872 , or Steve at 618-455-3664 to schedule your appointment. If you need physical help, the Village Board would be glad to help you find someone to help, however we will only do this for those that are not physically able to do the work themselves.
In the weeks following this clean up date, we will be assessing the status of garbage and refuse in residents’ yards. Yards that contain items that are in violation of a Village Ordinance will shortly thereafter receive a notice from the Village Board to fix this violation.
Our goal is to really make a difference and make our Village look better! We want you to be a part of that, too! Reach out to your neighbor and ask if you can help!
