The Zoning Board of Appeals/Plan Commission met in a continuation meeting in regards to a Special Use Permit and Bulk Variance. The Special Use Permit was granted to permit construction of a new structure for a Reception Hall.Event Center. The Bulk Variance was granted for a gravel parking lot with the Reception Hall/Event Center.
Jasper Jobs Inc. offered approximately one acre to Rick Lindemann for TPS use. Doug Weddell was offered approximately 2.5 acres. This land is located behind WIKK, west of The Print Shop, and east of Imperial Acres.
This area remains industrial classification, however, the special use permit allows the industrial area to be used for an event center. The passing of these allows the design process to begin and building permits will still need to be obtained
