2024 CEO Trade Show

The Jasper County CEO Team will be hosting their 2024 CEO Trade Show on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024 from 5pm to 7 pm in the gymnasium at the district office (formerly known as the Sunrise Center.)

The five businesses highlighted will be Kyanna Ruholl’s Pressed and Pulped, McCLure’s Lures,

Kyanna Ruholl’s Pressed and Pulped which features homemade lemon shakeups. At the trade show, she will have a special of BOBA Strawberry and Mango. You can add boba to your drink for an up charge of $2. Kyanna has participated in chorus, science club, and other curricular activities within the school. Outside of school she babysits and has been doing competitive dance for 11 years now. Some goal Kyanna has for this program is to be confident and able to communicate.

McClure’s Lures makes soft plastic fishing lures. All lures are $6 a bag. Landen McClure is the owner of McClure’s Lures. Landen is involved in Football and FFA. While Landen is not attending after-school activities he can usually be found working on his family farm. As a sophomore Landen attended several welding contests. These include the Brandon Blackford Memorial Welding Contest at OCC placing 2nd, the Section Ag-Mech contest placing 2nd, and the State Ag-Mech contest placing 2nd! Landen would like to continue getting better at welding and potentially follow it as a career path. He hopes to potentially open up a welding shop and hopes that CEO can help him with the necessary skills to run a successful business!

Laws Creek Rod Co. which features fishing rods. Evan Johnson is the owner of Laws Creek Rod Co. In addition to CEO, Evan is also involved in FFA, NCHS Golf, and is on the bass fishing team. Outside of school, Evan enjoys traveling, fishing, hunting and hanging out with friends. After high school, Evan plans on taking OCC’s 2 year welding program, and then entering the workforce.

Organized by Ava is owned by Ava Finn. Ava creates organizational planners for her customers. Outside of Ceo she is on the Cheer team and is in the marching band. When Ava is not at school or attending school advents she is at home with her family, hanging out with her close friends, spending her time in the kitchen, or working at her job at Joe’s Cucinellla’s Italian Foods and Pizza in Newton. She enjoys listening to music, drawing, and putting together puzzles. Ava joined CEO to get out of her comfort zone and to be more social when it comes to talking to people from our community. Her plans after high school are to be an ultrasound technician.

Pawfect Treats is owned by Mikayla Hesser and she creates dog treats. She plans on attending EIU next year, majoring in Computer Science. While in high school she works part-time at Subway in Effingham. Outside of school, Mikayla likes to listen to music, take long drives, and be with friends. She likes to spend time with family and friends. She looks forward to learning more about local businesses and how they are run.
