Newton Eagles Football Announces End-of-Season Award Winners

The Newton Eagles Football program closed out its season by honoring the hard work, leadership, and accomplishments of players across all grade levels. The awards, presented during the team’s end-of-season gathering, recognized standout performances on the field, growth throughout the year, and the dedication shown behind the scenes.

Dexter Fulton was one of the evening’s most decorated athletes, earning Honorable Mention All-State, All-State Academic, and First Team LIC Wide Receiver honors. He was also named both the Newton Football Offensive Player of the Year and the Newton Football Eagle Award Winner, highlighting his leadership and all-around impact on the program.

His brother, Quincy Fulton, was recognized as a Second Team LIC Wide Receiver and also shared the title of Newton Football Offensive Player of the Year, emphasizing the strong offensive contributions from the Fulton family this season.

At quarterback, Hayden Mulvey earned Second Team LIC Quarterback and was also named a Newton Football Offensive Player of the Year for his command of the offense and consistent play.

On special teams, Henry Will received the honor of Newton Football Special Teams Player of the Year, recognizing his reliability and big-moment performances throughout the season.

Defensively, Harrison Kinkade, Parker Harris, and Dominic Baltzell were named Newton Football Defensive Players of the Year. Baltzell also earned LIC Honorable Mention, highlighting his presence and production on the field.

Sophomore standout Marko Myburgh was honored as the Newton Football Newcomer of the Year, signaling a bright future for the young athlete.

Demonstrating notable growth from start to finish, Ryan Spiker and Ian Kessler were named Newton Football Most Improved Players of the Year.

Closing out the recognitions, Carson Jones and Owen Ulm were awarded Newton Football Practice Players of the Year for their consistent effort, attitude, and work ethic during daily practices.

The evening showcased the strength and spirit of the Eagles’ football program, celebrating not only standout performances under the Friday night lights but the dedication and teamwork that fueled the season from start to finish.
