Newton Community High School celebrated Homecoming on Friday, September 25, with Madison Keller and Owen Ulm crowned the 2026 NCHS Homecoming Queen and King prior to the Eagles’ football game against the Paris Tigers.
Keller was selected as queen from a senior court that also included Allie Hermann, Ashtyn Ochs, Claire Probst and Grace Schumacher.
Ulm was crowned king from a group of senior candidates that included Harrison Kinkade, Hayden Mulvey, Jacob Oldham and Henry Will.
Students from the junior, sophomore and freshman classes were also represented on the 2026 Homecoming Court.
The junior court included Audrey Beals, Alani Bergbower, Brenly Francis and Jorjia Reich, with escorts Amos Mahaffey, Cylas Dickerson, Chance Mulvey and Oliver Ochs.
The sophomore court included Scarlett Meinhart, Ashtan Merrell, Jossie Stanley and Riley Tarr, with escorts Dylan Earnest, William Michl, Griffin Bierman and Hank Huber.
Representing the freshman class were MacKendra Anderson, Katie Jansen, Tinley Lingafelter and Mabry Wolf, with escorts Aaden Henkel, Austin Pitcher, Maverick Horner and Nathan Beals.
The crowning ceremony was held ahead of Friday night’s Homecoming football game between the Newton Eagles and Paris Tigers, bringing the week’s Homecoming festivities to the football field as students, families and Eagle fans gathered to celebrate the 2026 court.
