The Newton Community High School Marching Eagles brought their 2026 production, “Redemption,” to the field during the Eagles’ football game, performing both their pregame and halftime shows before the crowd.

The production explores the themes of regaining what has been lost, breaking free from bondage and making amends. The show features a selection of musical pieces, including “How Great Thou Art,” the Doxology, also known as “Old One Hundredth,” Franz Biebl’s “Ave Maria” and “Elsa’s Procession to the Cathedral.”

Following the halftime performance, the Marching Eagles’ drumline took the field for a performance of its own, highlighting the percussion section’s contribution to the production.

The evening also included recognition of the band’s senior members, honoring their years of dedication, hard work and commitment to the Marching Eagles.
