The 149th Annual Jasper County Fair Grandstand Events will run Monday, June 24th with the annual Fair Queen and Little Miss pageant through Saturday, June 29th ending with the rodeo and a concert by Ned Ledoux.
On Monday, June 24th at 7:30 pm six contestants will take the stage to compete for the title of Miss Jasper County Fair Queen. Lauren Probst, the reigning Fair Queen will relinquish her throne to one of the six candidates, Sadie Brewer, Mykayla Spelbring, Michaela Baker, Natasha Smock, Paige Klingler, and Brianne Duncan. During the pageant, eight Little Miss participants will take the stage as well.
On Tuesday, June 25th the Jasper County Talent Show will be held at 6:30 pm. Talented young ladies and gentlemen will take the stage performing and competing for a chance to participate in the Illinois State Fair Talent Show Competition. On Wednesday, the Sanctioned/Non Sanctioned Tractor Pull will be held starting at 6 pm. Wednesday is also the day for the Open Shows of the fair. Department A Beef Judging and Department G Junior Swine Judging will be held at 8:00 am in the 4-H Show Ring and the Department H Junior Swine Judging will begin at 1:00 pm in the 4-H Show Ring.
On Thursday, the 4-H Auction will be held at 5:00 pm in the 4-H Show Ring and also on Thursday, the Sanctioned/Non-Sanctioned Truck Pull will begin at 7 pm.
Friday at the fairgrounds is the Antique Farm Machinery show from 10 am to 2 pm. At noon, Harness Racing will begin.
At 5:30 on Friday evening, there will be a pit party for the Lil Monster Trucks. This is an opportunity for the kids and adults to meet the youth drivers of the Lil Monster Trucks in person and get up close to the vehicles and will be held in front of the grandstands on the track. The show will start at 7pm.
On Saturday, there will Department B Dairy Judging at 8 am. The Lawn Court Clash Volleyball tournament will begin at 10 am. Harness Racing will begin at noon and rounding out the 2019 fair will be the Whippoorwill Rodeo at 6pm and the Ned LeDoux Concert following the rodeo.Tickets for the concert can be purchased here
Each evening, Tuesday through Saturday there will be two $50 drawings in the grandstand. You must be present to win.
Carnival Rides begin on Tuesday, June 25 and will be open through Saturday, June 29th from 6pm to 10 pm. The $5 gate entrance includes an armband to ride the carnival rides.
