The Newton Eagles Soccer Team placed second in the St. Anthony Tournament held in T-town.
On Saturday, the Eagles defeated Christ our Rock Lutheran and Salem to cinch their 4-0 record in the tournament.
In the game against Christ our Rock Lutheran goals were scored by Ross Farley (four). Carder Reich (three), Seth Weber (two) and Andrew Moore, Gage Reynolds, and Alex Kaufmann each with one. Assists were made by Seth Weber (two) and Carder Reich and Gage Reynolds each with one.
The Eagles defeated Salem in their final game of the tournament and are now 4-0-0 on the season. Goals in the Salem game were scored by Seth Weber (two) and Ross Farley and Eli Weber each with one. Assisting were Carder Reich (twice) and Gage Reynolds (once). The defense has put up their third clean sheet.

The Eagles will play again in T-town on Saturday against Christ our Rock and Salem.
