The Eagle Trails first leg (north of the river bridge curving around to the highway) has a new addition. Thanks to the the kids of St. Thomas School, Limitless, Tiffany Keller, Shirley Hoffeditz, the Embarras River Tourism Council, the City of Newton Departments, and donors of caps, plastics and lids.
The company is Green Tree Plastics in Evansville and 200 lbs of plastic creates a 6 foot bench.
There are hopes of adding more benches to the Eagle Trails as well as the upcoming Riverwalk Project which will be on the south side of the river from the Old Mill Inn area (Old River Bridge)
