Michael B. Maginn, age 62, of West Liberty, Illinois, passed away at 9:05 PM – Wednesday, August
17, 2022, at his home.
Private family services will be held. In loving memory of Michael, memorials may be made to the

Michael was born on September 23, 1959, in Olney, Illinois the son of Donald J. and Marilyn (Ochs)
Maginn.
He graduated from Newton Community High School with the Class of 1977.
Michael worked for many years at Equity West Liberty Plant as a sprayer. He was a member of St.
Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Sainte Marie, Knights of Columbus #1704, Eagles and the
Sons of American Legion Squadron.
Michael is survived by:
Brother – Kevin “Cotten” (Kathy) Maginn of Newton, Illinois
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents Julius “Jupe” and Addie Ochs
and paternal grandparents Jerome and Mary Maginn.
