Flo Lorrain Barker, age 87, of Newton, Illinois, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 13 2022, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Newton, Illinois, with Fr. Dean Probst celebrating mass. Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Newton, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 AM – Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois. Flo was born on September 22, 1934, in Macon County, Illinois, the daughter of Martie E. and Pearl (Knowles) Morris. Flo married Morgan Barker and he preceded her in death on July 31, 1996.
Flo was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Newton. Flo worked as a house keeper for most of her life. She loved to dance and spend time with family and friends.

Great Grandchildren – Blair Camp and Cora Camp of Sullivan, Illinois
Brother – Bill (Elaine) Morris of Decatur, Illinois
Sister – Annabel Schable of Atwood, Illinois
Special Friend – Linda Mertens of Newton, Illinois
Flo is preceded in death by her parents, husband Morgan Barker, son Thomas Camp, two brothers, two sisters, and special friend, close companion John A. Bergbower.
