New Business

  • Approved the Tax Levy for 2024
  • Approved a Resolution abating a portion of the tax Heretofore levied for the year 2024 to pay debt service on General Obligation School Bonds, Series 2023, of the District
    • The District will use existing funds to help pay for the bonds instead of adding the full amount to the tax levy. 
  • Approved a Bid for Newton High School Roof Project forTop Quality Base Bid $231,300.
    • Roofing project will begin May of 2025.
  • Approved to Seek Bids on Newton Elementary Roofing Project. 
  • Approved of District Mowing Contract to Griffith’s Lawn Care for $18,500
