Newton, IL — Family Tree Ministry, a community outreach initiative of Scott Avenue Christian Church, is once again opening its doors to support Jasper County residents through its monthly Food Pantry Distribution. The upcoming distribution event will take place on Thursday, April 24th at 5:30 p.m. at the church’s location at 404 S. Scott Avenue, Newton.
The ministry, guided by the biblical message from Galatians 3:28 — “In Christ’s family there can be no division. Among us you are all are equal.” — is committed to serving all individuals in need with compassion and dignity.
Residents of Jasper County are encouraged to attend and receive much-needed food supplies. Participants are kindly asked to bring their own bags and boxes to carry items home. Volunteers will be present to assist and ensure a smooth distribution process.
This initiative reflects the church’s ongoing commitment to serve the community by meeting essential needs and spreading hope and unity through service.
