Beverly Jean Napier age 72, of Newton passed away Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Lakeland Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.
Cremation rites will be accorded to Ms. Napier. No services are planned at this time.
Beverly was born on August 31, 1954, in Aurora, Illinois, the daughter of Robert Lee and Beverly Jean (Agnew) Napier. Beverly spent her life as a homemaker and mother. In her free time, she enjoyed puzzle books and watching games shows on TV. She liked to play rummy and to color with her granddaughter, Autumn.
Beverly is survived by her children, Dustin Alan (Mindy) Napier of Willow Hill and Crystal (Josh) Sutter of Newton; granddaughter, Autumn Sutter of Newton; grandsons, D. J. Napier and Kevin Napier of Willow Hill; step-grandchildren, Chloe Sutter and Cooper Sutter both of Newton; brothers, Brent Charles Napier of Texas, Steve (Andrea) Roseboom of Utah; and sisters, Elizabeth Hanson of Woodbridge, IL, Bonnie (Keith) Kuczhowski of Norway, IL and Linda Green of Arizona.
Her parents, Robert and Beverly Napier and brother, Bobby Lee Napier preceded her in death.
