Brian Keith Cox, age 52, of Falmouth, Illinois, and formerly of Oblong, Illinois, passed away at 5:20 PM on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at his home.

Brian was born on April 15, 1974, in Mattoon, Illinois, the son of William Hadler and Karol K. (Bear) Hadler. He was later adopted and raised by Elias Earl Cox and Gola LaVange (Fear) Cox.
Brian graduated from Oblong High School with the Class of 1992. He had worked at Toyota Boshoku of Illinois in Lawrenceville.

Sister – Brenda Fecteau of New Gloucester, Maine
Nephews – Christopher Carter and Shawn Carter
Brian was preceded in death by both sets of parents.
