St. Thomas’ 12th Annual Wine Tasting. This event featuring a variety of wines will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. at the Newton Knights of Columbus Hall. Your $10.00 minimum per adult donation will go to the St. Thomas’ Angels Group who provides many outreach services

The Jasper Unit 1 Musical Department will be hosting a craft and vendor fair on April 11 at 8 am to 4 pm in the Junior High/High School gymnasium. Proceeds will go to the 5th-12th grade band, chorus, and musical programs. We are currently looking for vendors. Vendor fee will be

The NCHS Color Guard held a performance at both Newton Elementary and St. Thomas School Tuesday morning to help promote their upcoming Colorguard camp and performance at the Friday night basketball game on February 14th.
These students from Newton Community High School competed at the Regional level of FBLA and placed in the top five in their respective categories. The 2019 Jasper CEO Class held their annual class business on Saturday evening in the NCHS Auditorium. The class business was a Hometown Showdown where audience members had the chance to play games like “The Price is Close Enough” and and Neighborly Feud. The hosts for the event were Shane
