The Newton Eagles held their senior night ceremonies before the home game against South Central. The Eagles then faced the Farina team and defeated them 2-1. The game was tied at 1 until Drake Wolf singled scoring one run and giving the Eagles the lead to win.
Wolf also put the Eagles on the board in the bottom of the second with a single. Gus Bierman earned the win for the Eagles with three hits and one run over five innings, striking out three and walking one. Kohlten Barthelme threw two innings giving up two hits, striking out three, and walking none.
