Newton Junior Woman’s Club (NJWC)(GFWC) cordially invites you to participate as a sponsor of the 6th annual 5k/Kid’s Fun Run. This event will be a fundraiser for the Newton Junior Woman’s Club towards the purchase of a mobile food trailer. The event will be held on Saturday, May 20th, 2023 at Peterson Park in Newton, IL. The event will kick off at 8:00 a.m. with a drawing for door prizes followed by a kid’s fun run and 5k run/walk. A photo booth will be available throughout the event.
Your sponsorship helps to defray the costs of organizing the event. Funds received from sponsorships are used to purchase t-shirts for race participants, awards, and complimentary drinks/snacks for each race participant.
There are various levels of sponsorship for NJWC 5K Run/Walk/Kid’s Fun Run. All sponsorships, silver and above, will receive their name printed on the back side of the race shirts.

Newton Junior Woman’s club (NJWC) is a philanthropic organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. We look for unity, but unity in diversity. NJWC is a non-profit group volunteering time and efforts to raise funds that in turn go back to organizations within our community. NJWC’s current lemon shake-up stand is not mobile and has been used for many years. This stand is stored at the fairgrounds. NJWC has been asked to be a vendor at other local events, however we are limited in how we can perform this task. A mobile trailer will open up new possibilities that our club will be excited to share if or when the opportunity arises. Thank you for your consideration in helping us achieve our fundraising goals.
