Hi, My name is Dawn Colwell and I am the accompanist for the NCHS Musical White Christmas.
As you know Newton Community High school is proud to present Irving Berlin’s White Christmas!
With the pandemic all of our school programs have been hit hard but especially the music programs. The senior class that is in this musical hasn’t performed in front of a live audience since their Freshman year!! They have worked SO hard and want to lift the spirits of everyone in Jasper County and surrounding counties with this musical. I have had the extreme pleasure of working with the many talented students at NCHS since 2011 as the musical accompanist. I can tell you these kids are excited to perform and we would love to have a packed house for all the performances. So come on out and get in the Holiday spirit and forget all your cares for a few hours and just enjoy the show.
Tickets are on sale Showtimes are December 16-18 @ 7:00 pm and December 19 @ 2:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the NCHS office or at the door. The performance is in the NCHS Auditorium. Invite your family/friends and make it an experience to remember. Make sure before the show you check out all the Christmas lights at the park and on the Embarrass river walking bridge as well to complete your experience.
