Lillie Ellen West, age 68, of Yale, Illinois, passed away at 3:16 AM – Thursday, November 25, 2021,
at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM – Monday, November 29, 2021, at the Meyer Funeral Home
in Newton, Illinois. Burial will be in the Honey Cemetery in Bogota, Illinois. Visitation will be held
12:30 – 2:00 PM – Monday, at the funeral home. In loving memory of Lillie, memorials may be made

Lillie was born on December 9, 1952, near Bogota, Illinois, the daughter of Delmar and Nola (Worthy)
King. She married Cecil West on February 22, 1975, in Effingham, Illinois.
Lillie graduated from Newton Community High School in 1971, and then attended Olney Central
College and earned a Cosmetology degree.
Lillie attended New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church near Yale. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and sewing.
Lillie is survived by:
Husband of 46 years – Cecil West of Yale, Illinois
Children – Joe King (fiancé Jennifer Sheridan) of Robinson, Illinois; Amanda (Johnny) Niles of Yale,
Illinois; and Randy (Megan) West of Yale, Illinois
Grandchildren – Austin Niles, D.J. King, Nathan Niles, Sidney Niles, Gracie West and Hunter West
Brother – Wayne King of Gays, Illinois
Sister – Eva Pauline (Bill) Kirk of Republic, Missouri
Lillie was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers Jess, Elmer, Dale, Jack, Jim and Delbert King.
