The City of Newton has announced a change to its annual trick-or-treat night, which will now take place Sunday, November 1, 2026.
Trick-or-treating hours will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m., giving local children and families an opportunity to celebrate Halloween with a little extra time for costumes, candy and spooky fun.
Residents are encouraged to take note of the updated date and plan accordingly. Those participating in trick-or-treating should remain alert, watch for children crossing streets and take precautions to help ensure a safe evening for everyone.
With pumpkins, costumes and candy ready to go, Newton families can look forward to a fun-filled evening of Halloween festivities on Sunday, November 1.
