Annette L. Runyon, age 65, of rural Olney, Illinois, passed away on October 21, 2026, at her home
Annette was born on February 6, 1961, in West Salem, Illinois, the daughter of Harry and Katherine (McDowell) Runyon. She married Marion Thomas on November 19, 1977, and he survives.
A Celebration of Life Service for Annette will be on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the
Antioch Christian Church with Pastor Mike Baker officiating. The Meyer Funeral Home in Olney is assisting the family with the arrangements. The obituary can be viewed, and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com.
Annette worked for many years at Lewis Bakery in Vincennes, Indiana. Annette was a member of Antioch Christian Church in rural Olney. She enjoyed baking and made many cakes for her family and friends, including the Wedding Cakes for each of her children and grandchildren. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She had a hard time telling them no. She would often have a dance-off with her grandchildren in the living room and laugh. Annette enjoyed camping and fishing and when the family watched football she would root for the team the rest of the family was against, but she was an avid Colts fan.

Great-Grandchildren; Zoey Thomas, Carson Thomas, and Clayton Downer
