What made you decide this school was the best fit for you?

When I visited this school I got an amazing feeling from the people there, the head track coach, Coach Lowder, gave me time to tell me all about his program and where I would fit in there. I got to meet a lot of potential teammates and everyone was really cool and welcoming, I just got really good vibes from the school and the team.

How do you feel NCHS has prepared you for this next step in life?

NCHS has prepared me for this journey with dual credit classes and teachers that care about teaching me how to absorb information not just relay it.

What are at least two life lessons you have learned from sports?

I have learned that sports aren’t everything, and that even though I will give my all the whole time I am in it, it will come to an end at some point. I have also learned that sports can shape your character in amazing ways, I have learned how to lead teammates, how to push through hard times, and how to give everything I have and then some.

How have your coaches (and assistant coaches) helped prepare you to play at a collegiate level?

My coaches have kept me accountable and made sure I am always pushing myself to be better, they have encouraged me and helped me see what potential I have within me, and that will help me compete at the next level.

What will you miss the most next year about not being at NCHS?

I am going to miss my current teammates and coaches because I have grown with them so much over the years, but I know that my new teammates and coaches are going to be great as well.
