NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
JASPER COUNTY
2024 ENERGY TRANSITION COMMUNITY GRANT
Notice is herby given that a Meeting for the 2024 Energy Transition Community Grant will be held at its Board Room in the Jasper County Office Building in Newton, in said County, at 5:30 o’clock P.M., Central Standard Time, on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
As required by Illinois Statute (20 ILCS 735/10-20) Energy Transition Community Grants
(h) Project applications shall include community input and consultation with a diverse set of stakeholders, including, but not limited to: Regional Planning Councils, where applicable; economic development organizations; low-income or environmental justice communities; educational institutions; elected and appointed officials; organizations representing workers; and other relevant organizations.
