Get ready to hit the backroads—because the Jasper County Chamber of Commerce is bringing back its Annual Jeep Run on Saturday, May 9, 2026, and this year’s theme says it all: “Born to Ride.”
The day kicks off on the square in Newton, where participants can sign up prior to departure. At 1:00 p.m., the popular Blessing of the Jeeps will take place, followed by the official send-off at 1:15 p.m. as vehicles roll out for an afternoon adventure across Jasper County.
This isn’t just for Jeep owners—all vehicles are welcome to join in on the fun. The route will take participants on a tour of Jasper County’s scenic dirt roads with a few memorable stops along the way, including some of the area’s well-known local hangouts.
The final destination for the ride will be BJ’s Saloon, where the day will wrap up with live entertainment. The band Gunslingers is set to take the stage at 6:00 p.m., giving participants and community members the perfect way to wind down after a day on the road.
Whether you’re in it for the ride, the scenery, or the music, the Annual Jeep Run continues to be a favorite spring tradition that brings the community together in a uniquely Jasper County way.
For those looking for a little dust, a little music, and a lot of local flavor—May 9 might be a date worth circling.
