NEWTON, Ill. — The Jasper County Health Department is inviting the community to its Annual Health Fair on Wednesday, May 27, offering a morning focused on wellness, education, and family-friendly activities.
The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the West End Event Center, located at 202 Museum Drive in Newton.
This year’s theme, “Red, White, and Blue: Wellness for You,” highlights the importance of accessible health resources for all ages. Attendees will have the opportunity to take advantage of free blood pressure checks, receive health education, and gather helpful nutrition advice from local professionals.
One of the day’s highlights will be a helicopter landing, giving visitors a unique, up-close experience and adding an exciting element to the event.
In addition to health services, the fair will feature giveaways and a variety of kids activities, making it a welcoming event for families across Jasper County.
Food will also be available for purchase, with all proceeds benefiting the Jasper County Cancer Support Fund.
